Here at RGSGQ, our student leadership team in Primary school is made up of a Head Boy and Girl, Deputy Head Boy and Girl and several prefects, all in Year 6. We encourage the students to apply for these positions and held interviews for the Head Boy and Girl roles. Further to these roles, each class has a school council representative. Together, this group of leaders help to make decisions on how the school is run and take on projects, help to organize events and represent the school.
The Secondary School has several student leadership positions. Each academic year the students vote for a Head Boy and Girl from our Year 10 students. They are active in the student council and help with school events throughout the year. Each form elects a student council representative, and they will attend monthly student council meetings. Additional there are 6 house captains at RGS who work closely with staff to arrange house events.
