The school’s aim is to ensure the best possible education for present and future pupils of the school.

  • To set the policies for achieving those aims and objectives
  • To monitor the school’s progress towards its aims and objectives
  • Regular reports and presentations are made to the Board of Governors, which meets three times a year.

Henry Pearson is a director of RGS Guildford International and was Chair of Governors of RGS Guildford from March 2007 to January 2013.

As a governor, he was instrumental in the creation of RGS Qatar. His principal career was as an IT and management consultant, focusing latterly on cyber security. Before retiring, his final employment was as the UK Cyber Security Ambassador, a senior appointment in the UK Government Department for Business and Trade, working closely with the UK National Cyber Security Centre to provide strategic advice to other governments on cyber security and supporting UK industry in their export activities. Henry was the first Chair of the RGS Foundation and is the parent of former RGS pupils.
